Short Biography
I
began my service to Anderson University’s Falls School of Business as an
adjunct professor in the MBA program in
1999
and accepted a full-time appointment as an Associate Professor of Finance &
Business in the fall of 2006. In
the
spring of 2008, I changed my field of teaching to become an Associate Professor
of Management. In January, 2009,
I
was named the Austin/Cooper Endowed Chair in International Studies for the
Falls School of Business. This will allow
me
to work with the Global Business majors, arrange for international cultural
experiences for students and faculty,
and
the required international study opportunity for the majors—I am looking
forward to working in this area.
My
earlier career was 27 years with a major electric utility, Duke
Energy-Indiana
and its predecessor companies:
Cinergy-PSI,
PSI Energy, and Public Service Indiana. During this time, I held progressively
more responsible positions;
in
total 17 jobs in ten locations. I hope I bring that experience into my
classrooms and the students benefit from it.
Additionally,
I have served my many communities where I have lived through
not-for-profit service with around 40
different
organizations. I have over 200 years combined service through this venue, with
12 of those years as the
presiding
officer, an additional 30 as an officer, and over 50 as a board member.

My
