Description: The tools needed to make a complete financial analysis of investment and financing choices will be examined. Analytical techniques will be integrated with the decision-making process such that the student is challenged to perform in-depth financial analysis resulting in the development of informed financial management decisions.
Objectives:
1. To explore the theory and practice of financial management issues and decision-making.
2. To illustrate how financial statement analysis may be used to evaluate firm performance.
3. To provide a theoretical premise for firm valuation and its comparison to empirical firm valuation.
4. To provide an understanding of how funds are raised by a company and how they are allocated.

To introduce the implications of international
influences on financial issues.
