CINDY PECK

Falls School of Business

I teach accounting at Anderson University in the Falls School of Business.  My office is in Hardacre Hall room 102.  You can reach me by email at cjpeck@anderson.edu or by phone at (765) 641-4366.

The School of Business has 20 full-time faculty and about 400 students with business-related majors.  We seek to prepare students for careers in a variety of organizations, for profit as well as nonprofit.  The liberal arts courses required of all A.U. students provide a wide base of knowledge for educated persons.  Our business core adds a base of knowledge expected of persons working in organizations in professional and managerial roles.  The major then provides specialization.

Sitting for the CPA exam in most states requires 150-hours of college credit.  Different options are available for meeting this requirement such as a double major or enrolling in graduate school.  I would be happy to discuss what is best for you.  Indiana requirements to sit for the CPA exam are found at the Indiana Board of Accountancy (see 872 IAC 1-1-6.1 Education Requirements).
