PORTFOLIO EVALUATION CRITERIA

BSNS 4440 – SENIOR MARKETING SEMINAR

I. PROCESS – 30%

· Did student follow all directions from “Portfolio Guidelines” document?

· Was student in class April 13 for Portfolio presentation rehearsal?

· Was student present and on-time for MAB interview on April 20?

· What else on the process?

II. APPEARANCE – 30%

· Outer appearance – leather or high quality vinyl?

· Are documents protected (where appropriate) by oversize page covers?

· Are there appropriate sections?

· Is portfolio and all sections neat and professional looking (e.g., typed tabs)

III. CONTENT – 40%

· Resume copies – at least three, tucked into pockets for easy removal to give to interviewer

· List of references – at least three, same as above

· Transcript

· Evidence of achievements

· Evidence of skills and abilities

· Class projects follow “Portfolio Guidelines”

· Anything that presents a skill and makes you look professional and qualified for a particular job
